On weapon injuring the Lugovskoj mammoth
In this article the author describes an injury character of the Lugovskoj mammoth from the vicinity of Khanty-Mansijsk, considering different kinds of insert weapons, coming to a conclusion that such injury could be given with an insert arrowhead, and not with a spear or a dart.

Economy and system of land use with the Bajryk and Lybaevo population from forest steppe and under taiga Low Tobol basin (the Eneolithic Age)
The article is devoted to reconstruction of economy and system of land use with bearers of the Eneolithic Baj-ryk and Lybaevo culture from the Tyumen Low Tobol basin. For solution of the set problem we used an algorithmic principle established on a successive use of results from several independent stages, basing on combination of humanitarian and scientific methods. We succeeded to establish that the economy and system of land use with bearers of the said culture was subject to evolution from earlier to later stages of development of the tradition, as well as those had their own distinctions in different natural and geographical zones.

A critical survey of hypotheses on utilitarian purpose of «ironings»
The article gives a detailed analysis of the existing hypotheses on a utilitarian purpose of «ironings», valida-ting a conclusion that none of those being fully able to explain the origin of wear traces observed in the grooves, being of the same type for all territories, as well as a phenomenon of a polycultural nature of the articles and their morphological distinctions, i.e. a small size and a standardized groove. The article puts a question on necessity of an integrated study of «ironings» as a phenomenon possessing its own dynamics of distribution and development, with its inherent causation.

Early Bronze complex in the multilayer settlement of Pyakupur-3 in the north taiga zone of West Siberia
The present article is devoted to an integrated analysis of the data obtained during investigation of the Early Bronze layer in the settlement of Pyakupour-3 in the north taiga zone of West Siberia. The investigation results make it possible to assume that basic occupations of the ancient population included preparation of hunting trophies, leather dressing, wood working, stone carving, às well as smelting or remelting, together with metal working. Distinctions of stone industry and tool set being similar to certain materials from the basin of the Pour river. A pottery complex, typologically a multi-component one, but common in a manufacturing method, does not find resemblance with famous Bronze materials in this region.

Ornamentation features of rite dishes with the Irmen’ cultural and historical community
The article by S.À. Kovalevsky is devoted to a description of rite dishes with the Irmen’ cultural and historical community in the south of West Siberia. The author selects traditional distinctions of the Irmen’ rite dishes having broad distribution. Subject to a detailed description being deviations from a traditional ornamentation canon and possible reasons thereof.

A sculpture image of white polar bear from the coast of Anadyr estuary (Chukotka)
Subject to introduction into scientific circulation being data on a sculpture of white polar bear found in the pebble stone brought from the coast of Anadyr estuary. With the regard for raw material (walrus tusk) and design (zooanthropomorphic image), the artefact belongs to ancient Bering marine culture (ancient Eskimo culture) which existed in the Far North-East of Asia at the end of I millennium B.C. — I millennium A.D. This finding broadens the area of ancient Eskimo culture toward the south, stimulating search of artefacts by ancient Arctic sea hunters on the coast of Anadyr estuary.
